The 8 week innately serena program has been an eye opening one - it’s disrupted so much I thought I knew about food & nutrition (and I considered myself to be pretty well versed in it!).
We started the program with the use of the CGM where we were able to study what types of foods suited my body best and how eating in the right order made significant differences in the way my blood sugar levels would fluctuate. For example things that are usually classified as “good” like sweet potatoes (since it’s a low GI carb) didn’t work for me as well as white rice & other grains - it proved the food & nutrition is truly bio-individual. There was also a lot of significance put on eating balanced meals and incorporating varied ingredients in my diet - not only did this keep me satisfied and excited for meal time but also helped with improving my gut microbiome, and such tackling issues with bloat that I’d been suffering from.
Apart from WHAT to actually eat, working with Serena has significantly changed my relationship with food. I had been calorie & macro counting for over a year and knew I wanted to break free of this “restrictive mindset” - it was a tough process and something I personally struggled with trying to do myself, but with her support we managed to address this along with the many food fears I had. I’ve learnt to listen to my body and align my physical needs with my emotional & mental ones :)
She’s been there for me round the clock over the last 2 months and I would have never have made this much progress without her constant attention and support. Serena was great to work with - she truly cares about the well-being of her clients and will go above and beyond to think of the best solutions that are personalized to each clients lifestyle and preferences.

Thank you thank you thank you! I don’t know how to begin to describe my gratitude towards Serena for guiding me on this health journey that has truly transformed my life. Serena is so much more than a gut health coach - she is also a therapist, an accountability coach, a teacher, a healer, and most importantly, a friend. She ALWAYS answered my questions (and trust me, there were many) to help educate me and make the “why” behind doing this stronger - and she was so knowledgeable in why we were doing all the things we were; and if she ever didn’t know she would make sure to do some research and come back to me. Highly highly recommend!! As someone who has struggled with PCOS and managing my nutrition over the past few years, especially whilst living abroad - with Serena I was able to learn so much about nutrition and my body which I will use for a lifetime. As part of the two-week glucose management program, we introduced the monitor to track my blood sugar levels. Initially, the idea of having a glucose tracker on me for 2 weeks was daunting but Serena (and the tracker!) made sure to keep me accountable and communicated with me every step of the way. This accountability also pushed me to eat clean and healthy, even during the holiday period! It was an eye opening experience for me to see the way different types of food impact my body and we were able to construe a personalised plan according to real data.In the past, I could probably say I’ve tried every single fad diet out there, but of course, none of them worked long-term. I think what separates Serena’s method from others to me is that she was able to tailor it to fit my lifestyle and long-term goals. I was able to eat clean without it affecting my social life dramatically - this used to be my biggest issue. Yes, it was admittedly overwhelming to make those adjustments to my lifestyle in the beginning, but I have to say it’s now become a natural habit and part of my day to day.
